The Role:
  • Act as the primary technical lead for new applications and cloud-hosted SaaS projects, providing subject matter expertise to projects, suppliers, and design governance boards.

  • Collaborate with the Strategy & Architecture team to evolve the firm’s technology vision, strategy, roadmaps, and budgeting.
  • Champion modern IT practices and keep architectural artefacts (designs, patterns, principles, standards) current and accessible.
  • Research emerging software trends and advise on designs for reliable, global deployment to meet business objectives.
  • Support vendor selection (RFIs/RFPs), lead technical supplier engagements, and design integrations across COTS, hybrid SaaS, and Microsoft ecosystem solutions.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 10 years in IT, with at least 3 years in an architectural role.

  • In-depth knowledge of legal applications (e.g., iManage Cloud, SAP SuccessFactors, InTapp suite, Litera products, relevant CRMs).
  • Demonstrable experience designing and deploying global COTS/SaaS solutions for geographically dispersed users, including hybrid services like Exchange Online and SharePoint Online.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture discipline, integration design across applications, and governance processes (creating/maintaining EA artefacts).
  • Experience with supplier/product management, including RFI/RFP processes.
  • TOGAF 9 (or higher) certified.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (or equivalent knowledge).
